ZEISS Academy Vision Care awarded for excellence in learning

The Vision Care business group won the Silver Award 2015 in the Category “Creating an Extended Enterprise Learning Program”

The Brandon Hall Group HCM Excellence Awards Program is one of the most prestigious awards program in the industry. The HCM research and advisory services firm yearly awards organizations that have successfully deployed learning programs and delivered measurable results. This year the “ZEISS Academy Vision Care” was awarded with the Silver Award in the category “Creating an Extended Enterprise Learning Program”. The Excellence Awards winners will be honored at Brandon Hall Group’s HCM Excellence Conference January 2016.

The ZEISS Academy Vision Care is the international training program of the ZEISS Vision Care business group which is designed to educate customers as well as employees worldwide. The internal training is available in more than 40 countries and up to nine languages, the external customer training can already be accessed in 22 countries. To be able to provide its training all over the world, 24 hours 7 days a week, ZEISS uses the IMC AG’s Learning Suite as its Learning Management System.

Interactive and entertaining training content with practical relevance for the learners is offered in the fields of optical science, products, and sales & communication skills. Besides online training, the ZEISS Academy focusses on blended learning concepts that offer in-shop training exercises for eye care professionals and optometrists in addition to eLearning modules. More than ten hours of online learning content is available.
